• Why can instant noodles be considered better than cup noodles?

First of all, instant noodles can be considered better than cup noodles (at least for Brazilians) because they were introduced to us before cup noodles.

They can be considered a version of ramen that arrived in Brazil, with a cheap price, ranging from R$2.50 to R$5 at most, while the price of cup noodles had a higher price variation, from R$2.49 to R$6.55, only because they have a more oriental-style packaging.

In addition to having an affordable price, they are sold in a considerably larger quantity than cup noodles.

In terms of flavor, cup noodles undoubtedly beat instant noodles, because the seasoning is already mixed with the noodles and is spicier and more 'tasty' than instant noodles, also taking into account that instant noodles' seasoning is not always enough to flavor the entire noodles, and it may be necessary to add salt to give it a more consistent flavor.
